Beyond the Lead: Enrollment Management Bootcamp
This session shares the knowledge and experience gained from veterans in the field of online student acquisition to help institutions avoid common enrollment management pitfalls and convert more leads into enrolled students. Beyond reviewing the challenges and opportunities in online lead generation, this session will tackle effective communications campaigns and will feature a case study to outline effective student acquisition processes.
Quality Control in Curriculum/Course Development
EBooks and Custom Publishing as Textbook Alternatives
The cost of textbooks has risen more than 100% during the last 20 years. But the explosion of digital content—eBooks, Web 2.0 tools, online learning technologies—makes using digital textbook alternatives a challenge. This session will provide a new framework for managing course materials as your institution’s investment portfolio, covering everything from identifying your purchase power to assessing delivery efficiencies and applying the 80/20 rule to identify candidates for lowering costs.
Proctoring: A Practical Way to Ensure Student Identity
Acxiom collects, synthesizes and maintains a database of U.S. consumer public records. The database is used to match students’ directory information. The student then must answer questions to verify their identity, which may include name, address and date of birth. Acxiom integrates with popular Learning Management Systems (LMS) to imbed identity verification into the learning process.
